Soil Song is a 2-player game where each player embodies an adorable compost dweller; a bacterial decomposer and a worm recycler. Traverse through a garden compost heap together, interacting with different types of organic matter to break them down using your unique abilities.

Experience the transformation of the environment over time as the seasons pass and you diligently work to keep the compost pile healthy, vibrant and harmonious.

Foster a sense of cooperation, communication, and mutual understanding between players, mirroring the interconnected and collaborative nature of regenerative farming practices.

Recycler

• Mouse to move!
• Collide with nutrients to absorb!

Decomposer

• WASD to move!
• Space Bar to decompose compost

Bugs

• When you run out of energy the game won't accept input, preventing you from trying again.
• After a full year the season counter glitches. The game remains playable but won't advance to Year 2. 
• Performance is sketchy with the web  build. Download options preferred!
